Isn't it fantastic that the simple use of charcoal or permanent marker can make this piece look amazing..a true artist just needs to have a few materials in hand and a creative mind..


Artists statement: I am looking to interrogate our relationship to the spaces we inhabit, and the land we posses. I am exploring these politically charged concepts, and believe that space and land create meaning, uncover history, facilitate change and transformation, and provide opportunities for power and growth. It exposes the shortcomings of our use of land, both for ourselves and also for the natural world. I understand that provocative discourses surrounding space and land can lay bare turbulent histories or lead to contemporary legacies of disparity. I want to push the physicality of the work to change the space it inhabits, for an experiential impact...Source
